The people who live in or near Greenfield
Name: Dennis (at least that's what it says on my license)|
Age: 30-something :)
5 favorite bands/music artists: #1--TNT (ANYTHING feat. Norwegian guitar wizard Ronni LeTekrø), then (in no particular order): the Tea Party; Ayreon (+ anything feat. Dutch guitarist Arjen Lucassen, i.e. Star One, Ambeon, Stream Of Passion, etc.); Shawn Lane; John McLaughlin (Mahavishnu Orchestra, Shakti)
4 favorite movies: "What About Bob?," "Monty Python & the Holy Grail," "50 First Dates," "Ever After" (I like comedy)
3 favorite tv shows: "Monty Python's Flying Circus," "Seinfeld," "Monk" (don't watch a lot of tv, so this one was tough)
2 of your favorite foods: cajun catfish (Bub's BBQ in Sunderland) & chicken tikka masala (India Palace in Brattleboro)
what's your favorite thing about greenfield?: It's on the borders of 3 states & centrally located near everything; just to the south is NoHo, Amherst, Springfield, Hartford, etc. for city attractions & just to the north is the great outdoors of VT & NH (hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming, camping, etc.). Towns like Bratt, NoHo, & Keene are a very short drive. My only complaints are G:field needs more ethnically diverse restaurants & a better music scene (then again, I think the European music scene blows away the US scene!). But G:field is ideally located w/o feeling too metro or urban. Even Boston, Providence, Albany, etc. are considerably close. Route 2 & I-91 are at a junction right here & rte. 9 & the Mass Tpke are just to the south, so you have access to just about anywhere.

Anywho, after much thought I decided to join this community anyway (bit older than all of you!) because I've grown up around G-town area & lived here just about all my life (besides Springfield, Hartford, Boston area, Los Angeles, & Oregon for short stints--I'm always drawn back here!).
